Benefits of the Scholarship
Successful applicants will receive:

Living allowance stipend: AUD $33,511 per annum (2025 rate, indexed annually) for 3.5 years (PhD) or 2 years (Masters).
Relocation allowance: Up to AUD $2,000.
Tuition fee offset:
Up to 4 years for domestic candidates.
Up to 4 years for international candidates through the University of Tasmania Fee Offset.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

Have completed at least four years of tertiary education, achieving at least an upper second-class Honours degree or equivalent.
Undertake a full-time research Masters or Doctoral degree in 2025.
Not be receiving another equivalent award, scholarship, or salary exceeding 75% of the base Research Training Program stipend rate.

A copy of their passport.
A signed Supervisory Support Form.
A research proposal.
Certified copies of academic transcripts and degree certificates.
A copy of their research thesis (from Honours or Masters degree).
A curriculum vitae (CV) including two referees’ contact details.
Proof of English language proficiency.
