The Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrate passion for their chosen field of study. Aim and Benefits of the Scholarship
The scholarship provides a contribution of between £4,000 to £8,000 towards full-time master’s tuition fees for high-achieving international students from Africa.
Requirements for Qualification
To apply, applicants must:
– Be domiciled in Africa
– Be classified as an overseas student for fee purposes
– Hold an offer to start a full-time master’s (including MRes) for 2025/26 in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK
Interview Process and Application Details
Applicants will be asked about their achievements, study plans, reasons for choosing the university, and predicted grades (if applicable). Responses and academic merit will be assessed during the selection process.
Applicants must adhere to a strict word count for all questions, as exceeding the limit may result in disqualification.
