Aim and Benefits of Africa Undergraduate Scholarship
The scholarship provides £4,000 per year for all years of study for students from Egypt. For students from all other African Union member states, the scholarship provides £4,000 for the first year of study only.
Requirements for Africa Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
– These scholarships are restricted to students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded.
– Students must be ordinarily resident in a member country of the African Union.
– Students must register for the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Essex in October 2025-26.
– The award cannot be held in conjunction with any other University of Essex scholarships.
– This scholarship is available for the years of study outlined above, with a maximum of three academic years for multi-year awards.
– Successful students should be available for promotional activities.
Note:
– Students receiving a repayable loan to fund their studies will be considered as self-funded.
– Eligible courses include Diploma of Higher Education, Bachelor’s Degree, and Integrated Masters (four years).
