One Young World Global Health Programme 2025
The One Young World Academy, in partnership with the Gates Foundation, is launching a special e-learning series focused on critical global health issues. The programme aims to equip young leaders with the knowledge and tools to drive impact in areas such as malaria eradication, polio eradication, family planning, and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH).

– Global Recognition: The top eight Academy Graduates will receive a full scholarship to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich alongside 2,000+ delegates from more than 190 countries.
– Career Development: Winners will participate in a year-long learning and development programme, including One Young World’s Global Leadership Programme and Action Accelerator.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
– Be between 18 – 35 years old.
– Be working in the private or public sector, politics, or activism.
– Be from or living in Niger, Senegal, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burkina Faso, or Côte d’Ivoire.
– Be interested in advancing global health in relation to malaria eradication, polio eradication, family planning, or MNCH.
Application Process and Timeline
– Applications close: February 7, 2025 (early applications encouraged)
– Sessions released: From March 31, 2025
– Essay/video submission deadline: May 23, 2025
At the end of the series, participants will submit a video or essay based on one of the four-session themes. Eight winners will be selected and awarded full funding to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich.
