About the Mastercard Foundation
The Mastercard Foundation, established in 2006 by Mastercard, is a Toronto-based international non-governmental organization focused on promoting financial inclusion, education, and economic development. Initially supporting projects in 49 countries, the Foundation shifted its focus to Africa in 2018 through its Young Africa Works strategy. This initiative aims to reduce gender and economic inequality, expand access to education, and create opportunities for decent work across the continent.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program, applicants must:

Have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities during their undergraduate studies.
