The Boys Without Borders, Nigeria (BWBNG) has announced the second edition of the Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition, calling for submissions.
The Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition is an annual event held to commemorate the International Day of the Boy-Child. As a boy-child advocacy organization, Boys Without Borders empowers male children by raising awareness of issues that affect them and creating platforms for proper self-development.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Challenging Harmful Stereotypes: Becoming Allies in the Fight for Equality.”

Requirements for BWB Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition qualification
– Applicants must be male undergraduate students in Nigerian universities.
– A photo ID must be submitted with the essay. If unavailable, an alternative document with a name, photo, and school name is required.
– Essays must be 800 to 1,000 words.
– The entrant’s name and school must not appear in the document. This information will be collected through the submission form.
– The essay must include a title and word count.
– Plagiarized essays will be disqualified.
Interview date, process, and venue for BWB Chidera Anushiem Essay Competition
– The top 10 essays will be shortlisted, and selected participants will be invited to a conference.
– The top 3 essays will receive cash prizes.
– The top 5 entrants will receive consolation prizes.
