Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited Undergraduate Scholarship 2025/2026
Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, operator of the Umusadege Field in OML 56, Delta State, in partnership with SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, invites suitably qualified Nigerian students to apply for its 2025/2026 Scholarship Scheme. The initiative is designed to promote academic excellence and enhance skill-based education among youths in its host communities and Delta State.
Categories of Awards
1. University Community Award – For students from Midwestern’s host communities only.
2. University Merit Award – For Delta State indigenes only.
Scholarship Benefits
– Successful candidates will receive ₦150,000 annually.
– The scholarship is renewable every year until graduation.
Eligibility Criteria
University Community Award (For Host Communities Only)
– Open to 100 and 200 level students at the time of application.
– Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE (including Mathematics & English) in one sitting.
– Must have a JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited university in Nigeria.
– Must have a current university ID card.
– Must provide an identification letter signed by the Ward Councilor or CACC (Community Accredited Contact-men Committee).
University Merit Award (For Delta State Indigenes Only)
– Open to 200 level students with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the time of application.
– Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE (including Mathematics & English) in one sitting.
– Must have a JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited university in Nigeria.
– Must have a current university ID card.
– Must provide Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 from their first year.
– Must provide a letter of identification from their Local Government Area (LGA).
Application Process
1. Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational details, and upload the required scanned documents.
2. Ensure that the names used in your application match the names on all documents. If not, upload a sworn affidavit or name correction certificate.
3. Upload a passport photograph with a white background when required.
4. Review all uploaded documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
5. Click “Apply Now” to submit your application.
6. You will receive a confirmation email and SMS once your application is successfully submitted.
7. Visit Scholastica Portal (https://candidate.scholastica.ng/), log in with your email and password to download your profile, and have your Head of Department (HOD) sign it.
8. Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification.
9. If you did not enter a National Identification Number (NIN) earlier, obtain it and update your profile.
