Vice Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship
The Vice Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship is an application-based award open to students who hold an offer to study at the University of East Anglia (UEA). A selection panel reviews applications regularly, and successful applicants receive a £7,000 tuition fee discount. Applicants will be notified of the outcome shortly after each panel review.
This scholarship is designed to recognize international fee-paying students who demonstrate how studying at UEA will enable them to make an outstanding contribution to their field of study and the wider UEA community.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
– Be classified as an overseas fee-paying student (if fee status changes to home, the scholarship will be discontinued)
– Hold an offer to study at UEA at the time of application
– Not be sponsored for full tuition fees by an external organization or government body (students applying for or receiving government loans are eligible)
– Pay the required international deposit by the publicized deadline
Eligible Programs
– Open to full-time, campus-based, credit-bearing MSc, MA, PGCE, or MBA programs starting in September 2025 or January 2026
– Exclusions: integrated master’s, MSc Global Plant Health, MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement, MSc Occupational Therapy, and MSc Physiotherapy
– For two-year programs, the scholarship applies to the first year only
