This scholarship covers 100% of the course fees for a one-year postgraduate taught program. It replaces any other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries previously awarded.

Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers:
– 100% of tuition fees for one year of postgraduate study.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, applicants must:
– Be currently domiciled in Africa (permanently living in an African country).
– Hold a first-class honours degree or demonstrate exceptional academic achievement.
– Commit to returning to their home country after completing their postgraduate program.
– Show evidence of their ability and commitment to making a positive impact in their home country.
– Have a full understanding of the costs involved in studying and living in the UK.
– Provide evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funding for living expenses.
Application Process
– Only applicants who already hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) from Loughborough University can apply.
– The application form must be completed in full before submission.
– Applications will be shortlisted, and final decisions will be made by a selection panel of senior university staff.
– If shortlisted, applicants will receive further guidelines on the next steps.
Important Notes
– Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
– Applicants must provide evidence of funds to cover travel, living, and maintenance costs.
– Some applicants may be required to pay a deposit towards their living expenses as part of the scholarship conditions.
