The EquityTech Fellowship is designed for entrepreneurs across the U.S. and globally who are leveraging technology to close gaps in education and the workforce. Fellows will receive expert training, critical resources to accelerate their ventures, and an eight-week in-person residency at Halcyon in Washington, DC.

Halcyon is a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., dedicated to equipping early-stage social entrepreneurs with the tools and relationships needed to achieve scalable, lasting impact. Since 2017, Halcyon has supported impact-driven innovators through fellowships, investment networks, and tailored programming.

Eligibility Criteria
Halcyon is looking for for-profit startups that are building scalable solutions in EdTech and the Future of Work.

Applicants must:
– Be based anywhere in the world
– Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with the potential to scale
– Work on the venture full-time
– Apply with up to one co-founder (optional)
– Be the CEO or primary decision-maker
– Be fluent in English
– Be at least 21 years old by the program start date
– Commit to participating in all program activities
– Develop a product aligned with at least one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Applications are evaluated based on four criteria: impact, scalability, innovation, and talent.

– Virtual kickoff meeting
