Pathways Access Scholarship 2025 – Swinburne University
Overview
The Pathways Access Scholarship is available to students who have completed a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification immediately before starting a full-time undergraduate degree at Swinburne University of Technology in 2025. This scholarship is funded by the Department of Education’s Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Programme (HEPPP) and aims to support Australian students from low socioeconomic backgrounds in accessing higher education.

Scholarship Benefits
$500 one-off payment before the commencement of studies.
$5,000 per year for up to three years (paid bi-annually).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa.
Be enrolled full-time at Swinburne University in Semester 1, 2025 in an eligible undergraduate course.
Have completed a VET qualification (Certificate I-IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or UniLink Diploma) immediately before starting their undergraduate degree.
Provide evidence of financial hardship and/or personal hardship, such as Centrelink statements, Health Care Card, or ATO Payment Summary.
Submit a 500-word personal statement outlining their financial or personal challenges.
Selection Process
Selection is based on:

Demonstrated financial or personal hardship, as evidenced by supporting documents.
A personal statement (500 words) addressing personal and/or financial disadvantage.
Application Deadline
The deadline for applications is March 31, 2025.
