Konrad Adenauer Visiting Scholar on Transatlantic Relations
The Centre for European Studies at Carleton University, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Foundation Office Canada), is inviting applications for the prestigious Konrad Adenauer Visiting Scholar on Transatlantic Relations. The successful applicant will serve as a scholar in residence at Carleton University for a four-month period from September to December 2025.

Responsibilities of the Visiting Scholar
Teaching one MA-level seminar at Carleton University on a topic related to transatlantic relations. The specific topic will be determined in consultation with the selected scholar based on their expertise. The course will be offered within the Institute of European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) and may be cross-listed with another department.
Delivering one public lecture on their research, co-hosted by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
Engaging in other scholarly activities, such as conducting research, consulting with policy practitioners, and giving guest lectures at other universities.
