The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), in collaboration with Pioneer Natural Resources Corporation, is offering GIS Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing Geospatial Information Science (GIS) degrees. These scholarships provide financial support of up to $9,500, covering tuition, research, and travel expenses.

Fast-track Graduate Fellowships Award: $3,000
Graduate Fellowships Award: $2,500

Pioneer Student Research Fund: Varies (typically up to $1,000 per year)

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements: Fast-track Graduate Fellowships Award
Must be a full-time student in the GIS Fast-track graduate program.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Graduate Fellowships Award
Open to current and newly admitted graduate students in the UTD GIS program.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Transfer Student Scholarship Award
Available for high-achieving transfer students from local community colleges.
Must be admitted to the UTD GIS program and be a U.S. citizen.
Pioneer Student Research Fund
Open to both domestic and international students.
Supports data, software, hardware, and travel expenses.
Out-of-state students may qualify for in-state tuition support.
Teaching Assistants (TAs) may receive priority for travel-related expenses.
